Original Sculptures, Created for You
Ashton Turner accepts select private and commercial commissions, creating one-of-a-kind sculptures developed around a subject, idea, or space.
Working primarily with steel wire and repurposed materials, Ashton approaches each commission as an original work of art- interpreting the client’s vision through his own distinctive sculptural style.
Commercial & Hospitality
Original statement pieces can be commissioned for hotels, resorts, restaurants, offices, retail environments, and other commercial spaces.
Sculptures may be developed around the character of the property, its location, brand, environment, or a specific creative concept.
Interior Designers & Art Consultants
Ashton works with interior designers, architects, and art consultants seeking original sculpture for residential and commercial projects.
Existing works may be considered for placement, or a new piece can be commissioned around the scale, environment, and creative direction of a specific space.
Private Commissions
For collectors seeking an original work created specifically for them.
Private commissions may be inspired by a meaningful subject, figure, animal, concept, or idea. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted as an original Ashton Turner sculpture.
The commission process
Inquiry & Consultation
Every commission begins with a conversation. Share your vision, intended location, approximate scale, timeline, and budget.
Concept & Proposal
Following the consultation, Ashton develops the creative direction for the sculpture. A project proposal outlines the concept, approximate dimensions, materials, timeline, and commission price.
Commission & Fabrication
Once the proposal is approved and the required deposit is received, fabrication begins. Depending on the project, progress updates may be provided throughout the creation process.
Completion
Upon completion, the finished sculpture is presented to the client for final review.
Delivery & Installation
Local delivery and installation can be coordinated when appropriate. Professional packing, shipping, or freight can be arranged for clients outside South Florida and is quoted separately.
Nationwide commissions
Ashton Turner Studio is based in South Florida and works with private collectors, businesses, hospitality groups, and design professionals throughout the United States.
Shipping, freight, crating, and installation requirements are determined individually based on the scale of the work and its final destination.
